What we teach our children in church about their place in the world and their relationship to others can make a profound impression. At Peace, our education program for children enhances the worship experience by teaching children what we believe: in short, that each of us is a beloved child of God and that we are the hands and feet, the face of God to one another. Through Sunday school, Bible study and youth activities, as well as summer mission trips, we want children and youth at Peace to understand that their place in the world is to give and receive God’s love and grace. It is an integral part of our mission that young people at Peace interact with all of our members in worship and service.
Youth at Peace meet some Sundays at Peace State Line, 11:30 am -12:30 pm and have a variety of service opportunities, fellowship times, and spiritual formation opportunities each month. We also meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at Panera Bread (75th and Antioch), 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm for “Deep Talk Wednesday”.
