Peace is a vibrant, informed, engaged worshipping community. And it is worship that sets us apart, from the way we transform a space and “make church,” to the music that manages to give old hymns new life and coaxes the sacred out of well-known secular songs, to the evocative sermons that easily blend scripture and storytelling. Whether we gather on Sunday morning in a bright school meeting space, on a Sunday evening in a funky downtown setting, or for a special weeknight gathering of prayer and service, worship is at the core of Peace Church. In every instance, our goal is to set the room to create real sanctuary, where worshippers feel more engaged with both the pastor and music leaders, and with one another. In creating the sacred space for worship, we transform a room and prepare it as we would for guests in our home, setting the table with beautiful fabrics, flowers and food for the soul.
