Sharing Happiness – Part 78

My dear Peace friends, this is my final Living Peace.  I have been writing these for years, canvassing my family members for what’s been making them happy and storing that to write for all of you.  However, Elizabeth graduated from Northwest Missouri State University this morning.  Caleb graduates from North Kansas City High school next week.  They are both moving onto new adventures.  I started writing these in November 2016, so there’s quite an archive of what’s made my family happy over the last 7 1/2 years.  I hope it’s made you happy, too.

JB:  I recommend Trae Crowder, the liberal redneck.  I follow him on Twitter, and Michelle follows him on Instagram.  His take on American culture and politics is thoughtful and hilarious.  I am always nodding my head while I’m busting a gut laughing.  He’s coming to Kansas City in July and we’re hoping to go to his show.

MB:  Elizabeth graduated college this morning.  After graduation, Jon, Caleb and I went to The Perk, a local coffee shop / game store on the square in Maryville.  I know it’s a little off the beaten path, but if you’re ever in Maryville, it was the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a while.

EB: My roommates love St. Louis Blues hockey.  When we started living together two years ago, I didn’t know anything about hockey and now I know a little more.  If they’re playing, the game is on.  I know that for the rest of my life, whenever I hear about Blues Hockey, I will picture our tiny living room in our cozy Maryville apartment and smile at the memory.

CB:  I recently went to Tabletop Game and Hobby.  It’s near 95th and Metcalf.  It is a great store with lots of fun games, knowledgeable staff, and plenty of space.  I’m always looking for new-to-me local game stores to support and recommend.
