Sharing Happiness – Part 77

My favorite podcast, “Pop Culture Happy Hour” ends their show with each member saying what made them happy the previous week. The rule is that it must be something anyone could enjoy if they chose (i.e., books, movies, twitter feeds, albums).

JB:  We finished watching Season 2 of The Legend of Vox Machina.  It’s an adult cartoon based on a Dungeons and Dragons campaign.  The episodes are short and offer a good mix of humor and action.

MB:  Caleb’s doing a deep dive into the Xi’an terracotta warriors for his geology class.  They are a fascinating piece of Chinese history.  We’ve looked at the history, cultural implications, manufacturing process, and geology of these cultural touchstones.

EB:  I recently attended the National Council on Education in the Ceramics Arts (NCECA) Conference.  They offer lots of courses for anyone who is interested in exploring the world of ceramics.  I bought a mug from Lilly Powell, who is a Kansas City-based artist.

CB:  I went to Orlando for spring break with my high school band.  We spent two days at Universal Studios, and the VelociCoaster is what made me happy.
